Essential Job Functions

Individuals hired for a position on the GMW Tronox team need to have the following experience and be proficient in the following:

• Able to read a measuring tape.
• Ability to read blue prints is desired.
• Ability to work at heights without restrictions.
• Ability to work at various job locations under the supervision of different supervisors.
• Willing to work 10-hour days with occasional out-of-town work.
• At times be willing to work longer hours without notice.
• Ability to wear a respirator without restrictions.
• Ability to follow safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to work with others and take instructions from supervisor and crew leadman.
• Show up for work on time and not miss work without prior approval of supervisor.
• Have necessary fitting and welding skills to perform job or the ability to learn these skills quickly.
• Have willingness to help others, perform quality work, respectful of co-workers and others, and the willingness to work without putting extra work on other team members.
